A lot of software companies/vendors are cracking down, more than ever nowadays.

I still maintain a 100% record of not purchasing a single application.

Same, besides wallpaper engine it was on 90% off so I thought it'd be nice to finally own it legit.

It'd be a good feeling knowing that a legit purchase Is running on your system.

Cracking software can be very difficult at times, and (depending on the type) It's activation can go down at any minute. I spent almost 2 hours earlier today cracking an application, whereby the registration kept failing. I located the Issue- It was communicating with the vendor's servers, so simply patching the Hosts file with a loopback IP address did the trick.

Nice nice I haven't cracked much.
Unity pro they check common upload spots for games to license and names and locations

I pirate all Adobe products

I pirated affinity photo & designer

That's about it

Cracking good old Adobe, by adding the amtlib.dll file/crack to the default Installation directory and overwriting the original file.

I remember Adobe v7.0 back In 2004/2005. It was only one serial for unlimited Installations. I'm not sure whether you've heard of the reverse engineers named "Core" (Challenge Of Reverse Engineering). To this day, they're still In the scene releasing keygens for a range of software. From memory, they've been around for 15+ years.

In terms of software, I clearly remember the bloated Norton SystemWorks 2001, which chewed both CPU and Ram resources.

Going back a few more years, I'll never forget "Microsoft Office 97"- 25 floppy disks to complete the Installation and If one failed (which did In fact happen a few times), you'd have to start all over again.

Yes, It was somewhat frustrating waiting to load each disk as prompted.

The Installation process took over 2 hours to complete.

It certainly Is quite a long time for a piece of software Installation.

We didn't know otherwise at the time, hence It seemed like a normal procedure.

yes, I agree and now the Software Installation time is either 2 minutes to 30 minutes and the longest is now like one-hour installation. that is the today standards.
