Most definitely, since TikTok introduced anime to a large audience. The growth as been crazy, I can see them making more westernized anime to connect to this new audience.
TikTok introduced? What?
Anime has been booming in the western world before TikTok existed. However, I'd be curious to know what TikTok has to do with anime/how it impacts it? Is it that people are getting curious about the memes?
Yes, tiktok most definitely helped the growth of anime on the western side recently. Since anime started blowing up on tiktok I realized Netflix also added some new anime series of their own. Of course anime has always been popular in the west(Dragonball, Naruto, etc). Tiktok just helped introduce new series to anime watchers, less mainstream titles.
I don't think Netflix's anime originals and TikTok publicity are really linked if I'm honest. Netflix began making it's own anime originals before TikTok even existed.
However, I'm sure it's given some wider reach.
Then again, we also have to remember that Anime has been on American TV for decades. I do think TikTok will help "normalise" it more. The more celebs and internet memes make anime an average part of pop culture, the less people will be ridiculed for it. This also means popularity of anime will increase.

with an article about Anime and Netflix. It's very interesting!
Maybe TikTokers can convince platforms like Amazon to invest in anime. Disney has already gone down that route with Star Wars Visions.
