SELECT format(dateadd(month, 0, getdate()), 'MMMM', 'pt-pt') + ' ' + convert(varchar(10),year(getdate()),100)

Result:
maio 2019

English

SELECT format(dateadd(month, 0, getdate()), 'MMMM', 'en-US') + ' ' + convert(varchar(10),year(getdate()),100)

Result:
May 2019
