And now social media is all "he's so brave" when really, he's just above the law because of his past as a fellow comedian and actor.
I can't know for sure because I have no stats or numbers, but I think that - thankfully - this isn't true. From what I've seen in social media so far, people are actually blaming Will for his impulsive reaction. Many started pointing out the incoherence of his behavior: How he's completely fine with his wife cheating on him with another dude, but loses control when someone makes a slightly offensive joke about her - clearly without any ill intentions. Now whether or not this is a fair thing to point out is another debate. It does show however that people disapprove of the way he reacted. Sure, some idiots here and there condone his reaction and think that it was appropriate and justified, but for the most part, it seems like public opinion is largely against him.

I haven't checked 1 post at all in any social media, it is just more distraction. For all you know the globalist slave masters that own HollyWeird and willie wanker's ass made him spruce up the pathetic show for one last shot to see if it can become relevant a little while longer.
Funny thing though, how come no one from BLM is coming out and saying anything about this? Hey, it is part of the highest statistic in the US, black on black crime. Not the BS narrative they want people to buy into.
Chris Rock just taking a cheap shot at her coming to the even looking like Mrs Clean / (or in his words GI Jane 2), yeah like that's what is needed now, a reboot of an old movie to throw a couple of bucks to the washed out actress she is.

Willie wanker going off that easily, shows he really doesn't have any tough skin at all. Not to mention, no class at all.
Imagine if it was Ricky Gervais making the jokes, he would have been way meaner that a silly superficial quip on her bald head. Worse yet, if willie wanker would have slapped a white man on stage at the oscars, you know damn well the entire LAPD would be there in a flash.
Moral of the hilarious attempt at BS distraction, black on black on crime at a black tie event is A OK in HollyWeird.....but make sure never to think you can pull that off with a white presenter......even worse if he was jewish. LOL

I can't comment on anything other than it is remarkable that nobody was charged. Then again, I don't care, so there's also that. But whether we personally side with either of them or even just with Jada, you have to account for the law and it appears that isn't being brought up by anybody. If it were someone like Ricky Gervais I doubt it would've ended like that. There would have been cops everywhere.

Exactly! If it was Ricky there, LAPD would have happily arrested willie wanker's ass in a flash.
But then again, the slave masters that own HollyWeird may have put him up to it. They can toy with anyone's career at any moment and they have to do what they're told, or they're done for.
Just look not long ago when a video came out with Tyrese crying on video to leave his baby alone. As always they want a young sacrificial offering in that cesspool of a town. He just covered it up as just having a weak moment and a breakdown. Then you see him prancing around middle east with arab royalty for his "company" , uh-huh.....we know what you were up to. lol
They are all owned and can be terminated 1 way or another at any time. Either via career, or the ol Jeff Eps didnt whack himself type coverup. Or the most plausible one they use in HollyWeird, overdose.

I mean he could've gone for a lawsuit or anything for defamation.. but still.

Defamation doesn't usually cover jokes about celebrities. Roasting and occasional jabs are pretty common at events like this. That said, it wasn't even a good joke compared to Chris Rock's usual material.

I mean the joke wasnt even in the script but still the reference was top notch.. GI Jane was i think it was supposed to cast Jada but she was filming scream thats why it went to Demi Moore, she had a similar shaved hairstyle back in the home so out of the blue Rock gave that a reference.. but considering Jada's going through a medical condition, maybe Smith couldn't handle it ..

It looks like Will Smith has now resigned from the Academy. As far as I'm aware, he still has his Oscar though. I don't think they should take the Oscar. That's an award for past work. He still did that work, regardless of what happened afterwards.

He most certainly has.

According to his statement, he's deeply regretted his actions.
Quote:"I have directly responded to the Academy's disciplinary hearing notice, and I will fully accept any and all consequences for my conduct. My actions at the 94th Academy Awards presentation were shocking, painful, and inexcusable. The list of those I have hurt is long and includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those in attendance, and global audiences at home. I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken. I want to put the focus back on those who deserve attention for their achievements and allow the Academy to get back to the incredible work it does to support creativity and artistry in film. So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate. Change takes time and I am committed to doing the work to ensure that I never again allow violence to overtake reason."

It sounds like he's going the full mile to make amends. I personally, would be quite happy to lay the issue to rest. It's happened now, no need to drag out the trauma of it.

Good on him for standing up and saying "Hey, my bad".

Absolutely correct.

What's done Is done. He's admitted fault, apologized for his actions and that's the end of It.
