Just use a palette editor instead. Saves you the space. Or you know, you can use the inbuilt system Adobe offers in Photoshop; Swatches.

I cba imma just make a psd with colors that I'll use on it, kinda like what they do on cereal boxes (I know it to check ink printing color stuff but shhs) cause I never get good colors

Swatches can be saved as separate sets, used across all PSDs. Say, I have one Swatches dubbed; "Material" which contains all of Google's Material colors. Then I have one called; "Neon" which contains a set of neon like colors I picked myself. Two I can easily switch between and use across all PSDs.

Ohhh I just looked it up a bit now too, I'll probably use that since it will be easier and I can have loads for different things

Exactly. Photoshop tend to have a lot of useful tools.
