Amazon Powerbeats Pro SE

#1
Wanting to SE a pair of Powerbeats Pro from Amazon, I already have a pair that are a few years old now and don't work perfectly. Was thinking of just ordering new ones and saying they arrived damaged, and when Amazon asks for a return I just send my old ones. Anyone see any holes in this idea? Many thanks.

Amazon Is quite meticulous with checking returns, hence any signs of Inconsistencies will be detected.

Is the serial number only located on the charging case, or on the earbuds as well? Also, what's the condition of your old set? And Is there any description that Identifies them as a previous/older model?

There is no indication of serial number on the charging case however it is written on the inside of the both earpieces. The old set looks somewhat new, minor scratches on the case however that is it, no major visible defects. I also don't believe that any new models have been released since, the items I have are the same as displayed on the Apple website and look identical to the images on Amazon.

The Issue Is the serial number - which Is enough to deem they're not the purchase product.

Your approach may work, but there's a high possibility of failure for the reasons mentioned In my previous post.

would suggest to just sealed box it, their the exact same weight. it will save you the hassle.

The sealed box method certainly has a very high success rate.

In terms of the Powerbeats Pro, there's no factory seal, but It's packaged/wrapped In clear film which serves the same purpose as the seal.
