Dry Ice Method

So im looking to do the dry ice method on amazon for an iphone 13.

What i would do essentialy is weigh the iphone box with the phone and contents, then cut up the same weight of dry ice and throw it in the amazon return box, i would also cut a minimal hole in each side of the box so there is ventilation for the dry ice to sublime properly.

The dry ice will be in a brick form, but my concern is the amount of fog/smoke that will be coming out the package, how can i avoid this or lower it?

All advice and previous experiences with this SE is appreciated

If need be, add a little extra dry Ice to allow for transit and (If applicable) storage time.

The dry Ice will not be enclosed In an airtight container (very dangerous If It Is), hence there's no need to cut holes In the box.

It will still sublimate, but at a slower rate and without emitting obvious signs of gas.

Perfect, I have high hopes for this method.

I believe after I post the item, I get in touch with amazon after a while asking for my refund, and if they conclude that my item wasnt in the box, i tell them i have proof of weight?

Signs of tampering Implies the Item has been taken/stolen In transit, so If they exercise common sense, there wouldn't be reason to question the return.

In the event they fail to see logic, the proof of weight you've mentioned Is an excellent approach.
