"index of" is outdated? or no? teqnics

I'm trying to learn :
I've been using "index of /" which i find alot of cool info, but nothing that amounts to the ability to locate juicy info I will call it.
Is there a new technique for searching besides using SQL, or application, perhaps i need some software?

Ive tried all this:

Anyone that can help point me in the right direction? why can i not access the .php files?what do i have to do?

I don't really understand what you are asking, if you want more dorks you can look some up on exploit-db

You wont be able to access php files because the server knows it's a php and it will just execute them and just give you the output
